Getting started with Eurorack setup advice

So have a DFAM coming today and was thinking about how to mount it over my setup in an elevated rack or stand, so it sits over this:

…to be controlled by the A4. After looking at various stand options it occurred to me that it could be put in a TipTop Happy Ending skiff (or similar) and that could be screwed into an open desktop rack like this:

…that could be cut down a little to go around and over the A4 stand.
Is there another option for an “elevated” skiff that can be above my setup? Also what additional modules would you add (20 or so hp to play with)? I was thinking Clouds or ErbeVerb, but already have the H9 so might be redundant. Maybe some sort of distortion/wavefolder?

Why do you want to go modular ?
I’m not sure that going for it and planning to build a 20hp system makes sense (except if you have one very specific target).

Did you consider a Minibrute 2S ? It woud bring some nice adds on to the DFAM in terms of sequencing, + many other cool stuffs :slight_smile:
