Going mono with your stereo poly synths

I always use the Moog Matriarch in stereo because that’s kind of the point of it, with its stereo filters and delay.

I thought this too, and it is fun to sit and play with the Matriarch in stereo.
But, I’ve always found myself getting OCD about where the filters are set relative to each other in the parallel modes and using it in mono removes that doubt… it feels more useful to me being a mono voice 90% of the time.

I’m pretty sure the Elektron reverbs are stereo too btw.

I didn’t bring up the Matriarch because while it’s got stereo in spades, it’s not a true poly synth. Some fun stereo patching here:
