Great OT:A4 sketch

i’m pretty much posting this here so i can find it again, it was tweeted by elektron recently, it might float your boat too if you didn’t catch it already, easily one of my favourite little works i’ve heard from the ot/a4 combo, restrained, magic, sonic gold - and the hold stop stutter method is a nice performance aspect

take a bow sir if you are a 'naut, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_R18rDB5IU

Wow, well played. Digged that!

Cant listen to this longer than 20 sec, too much high frequency clicky sounds , but thats just me i guess :zonked: .

try again from 2mins ;), it’s not for everyone, tbh most of what i hear from the elektrons is not really my thing, this was a rare oasis

ps: i thought it was entirely obvious from the original post, but i’m posting somebody else’s work, in admiration, the more i hear it the more i like it, sweet

oops, just spotted that the guy behind it had already linked it in here

¨thanks for sharing my little experiment!

i am sure that not everybody likes this freaky high click/bleep thing
but i wanted to show what’s possible without using multiple parameters on the performance page of the a4.
so it’s just manipulating the s&h paramter and some other twist

the crossfader/stop n play trick was just a funny accident one day… but from time to time i use it also on stage

honestly, it’s effortlessly delightful, kudos

On that Fader slide to Scene A, (bit like a tuned drum) is that you raising the level/pitch of an internal OT track that’s otherwise muted, it has some elements of some of the sounds from the A4, but i don’t think the Crossfader CC midi is that useful to the A4, so it must be the OT ? It’s a really nice trick to open it up and trig it that way(ie restart). Great accident …

Edit: I can hear the OT track later on when Scene A is open ! Got it.
