I watched this every week during the first season last year.
Solid show, but I have to say that I loved the opening theme (visual and music) the most.
Certainly this could be done with an Analog Four/Keys. Love the graphics. Effective composition and tension building. Lots going on for a thematic rise and fall in just 30 seconds.
Season 2 premier starts in one hour. I heard on NPR that this season has more of a focus on the female characters’ ground level startup and less on the established boys club. Hearing it had been picked up for a second season was exciting enough, but it looks like the plot will be much deeper this go around.
Anyone else watch this? I saw Season 1 just became available on Netflix.
Started watching it last year as well (about the 3rd episode in)… This season DOES seem to have deeper storyline (although it just started). Can’t wait to see how it evolves.
Ironically, when I played someone at work my little 80’s ditty from last night they basically sat me down and showed me the opening credits to this show.
I’ve liked a few Trentemoller songs in the past and recognized it instantly.
I’ve had the show bookmarked for months, but have been busy with so many things.
Looks like I gotta get into it now.
I keep meaning to reply to this thread. Been watching this show since AMC put the first episode online. Dig the music, dig the show, and hoping it gets a third season.
I find the story line and music MUCH more interesting in the new series, “Mr. Robot”, and here’s soundtrack snippet of Mac Quayle for the series: “DDoS Hacking Song”
