Has Focusrite lost focus as a company?

Have they?

Did they ever have focus to begin with?

Do they need a better lens to re-focus?

Then they would just be “Rite”, which isn’t even spelled rite

On a serious note I hope they bring back the Red 16 line interface back into production but I am awaiting for the chip shortage to get sorted out

You might be on to something.

Transferwise just became Wise.

Maybe Focusrite should rebrand to Focusleft? But then they may lose their conservative customers.

If they released a LaunchKey128, my failth woudl have been restored, but…

This one wins. hopefully so much it kills the trend.

A friend of mine explained to me the concept of “scoping”. As we approach problems, sometimes we need to be in a “focused” state of mind, other times we benefit more from an unfocused, “diffuse” state. Scoping is the ability to dynamically switch between those two states.

Similarly, someone on this forum posted a description of the “double diamond” method of project management, where cycles of divergent, then convergent thinking take place.

The incessant discussion about “focus” on this forum ignores the reality that sometimes we are focused on the wrong thing.
