I was a bit afraid, when I asked Elektron to activate the option to let people post polls, that we would have such nonsense.
Some really have way too much time on their handsā€¦
Wouldnā€™t it be worth it for you people to work on your sound quality instead of loosing your relevant focus in 2022?

I personally have absolutely no problem with polls. I mean nobody is forced to participateā€¦ I mean obviously the content of this poll is pretty troll, but I also posted it under ā€œGeneral Discussionsā€ on the assumption that not-so-serious topics are allowed to be posted there. I also posted my ā€œmy daughters drum machineā€ topic there and thought it was pretty troll but people seem to enjoy it. Anyway, I have absolutely no problem with this topic being closed.

Plz make a poll.

I have enjoyed these dumb polls. They feel like a quick card game: something to playfully fight/compete/debate around.

If any of them had any real weight (like if anyone was taking them seriously), Iā€™d probably avoid them.

Best poll I ever made was ā€œBest Guitar Player In Historyā€ and the two options available were Malcolm Young and Angus Young. Which is silly because itā€™s such a no brainer. Malcolm all day!

As one might imagine this got a lot of people waaaaaaaaay too riled up :0)

How long has it been active?
Iā€™m tempted to create a poll to survey whether most people agree that the early adopters will test and goof around to ā€œbreak inā€ the feature and then weā€™ll see polls used in a more measured fashion as the new synth smell fadesā€¦
