I requested about this in another forum thread and they confirmed it as defect. Digitakt and Octatrack work correctly with the same settings.
Fantastic Video, watched last night. Really dig the way you set up and explained everything succinctly. Got a subscribe from me!
if they don’t fill the blanks, at least give us bigger enveloppe !!
Good to know - well, not that it’s a defect, but that it will be fixed. On another note… I just tried MIDI sequencing on 1.01 and am not getting any output at all. Maybe it’s a brain freeze or late at night… is it working for you?
It works fine when lets say, external synth set to listen on channel 5, midi track channel set to 5, and output settings set to : track channel. BUT ONLY when using Digitone trig keys. If I have connected Keystep which sends midi notes on channel 1 and auto channel set to 1, it does not work. Same config works fine on Octa / Digitakt. Technically Digitone should listen to 1 channel for incoming Keystep notes, and relay them to selected track channel. For example in my case first midi track set to channel 5 so my ext synth should play.
hmm - thanks for your response. I tried everything and it didn’t work so I just did a factory reset (after multiple shut offs didn’t help…) and it’s cool now. No need for track channel settings either. Works OK - didn’t try and keystep thing but MIDI sequencing works great now…
