I often make a few versions of a kit to use in songs from the same project, and if I edit the volume of a kick, I want to know that that same kick in all my other kits is also altered to keep things consistent.
This seems to work by saving the sound, if you load another kit that uses that sound, it loads the sound and the new volume setting is there.
But this doesn’t work for all settings, like removing velocity to volume and setting up a reasonable velocity to volume response in the mod page. You can save your settings, but other kits that use that sound don’t re-load this.
Is there an easy way to keep sounds consistent across kits?
Now I have to reload all my kits - reload the sounds - save the kits.
I feel like I’m missing something.
Global volume levels wouldn’t solve this issue (for me anyway), because different kits might have different sounds on them that need to be set at very different volumes.
However, if you save a sound, with a new volume, any kit that uses that sounds ‘should’ update when reloaded. This sort of works, but sort of doesn’t.
If it worked like (I believe) it’s supposed to, there would be no problem. I could save a sound and know that all my kits using it will be affected.
