How to Make Patch "X" type resources

Just got a new synth with a huge patch memory…

planning on filling a load of slots with just “might be useful” patches to work from later…

I find these Attack Magazine “Synth Secrets” pretty good for useful contemporary sounds to replace ancient terrible presets:

just wondering if anyone has got any tips for other such resources?

(and yes, I can think up my own patches obvs, it’s just useful to program in a bunch of “stock” ones for when you think “oh yeah, this needs a kind of deep house chord thingy” or whatever.)

Most of the beloved hits from my youth were made with these presets.

As far resources, I use these terrible presets as my resource, starting from their misery and tweaking them to my own form of misery.

Oscillator Sink does a lot of patch design on his you tube channel…
