Individual parameters per pattern for noob

How to use different samples on the first track, when switching the pattern - the sample remains from the previous pattern when I switch them.
I have been trying to figure it out for half a year, but given the lack of understanding of English, I just drowned in the amount of information on the forum.
My task is that when switching the pattern PTN 1 to PTN2, the sample of the kick on the first track (T1) changed.
In supplements, if it is still possible to maintain individual effect parameters for each pattern, this would be cool.
Dear Octatrack users, please - HELP, there will be enough link, I will try to translate it and realize it.
Thank you!

You can do this is with “parts”. A part defines the machines and samples associated with each track of a given pattern, as well as the scenes available. However, it is important to understand that you only have 4 parts per bank (ie 16 patterns). You can for example use part 1 for patterns 1 to 4, part 2 for patterns 5 to 8, etc. A pattern is always associated with one of the 4 parts of its bank. Parts can be copied across banks.

PS: to “carry over” effects parameters from on part to the next, you can start by copying your first part to the second part, and then change the sample slots assigned to the tracks.

2 ways:

  1. use part 1 for pattern 1, part 2 for pattern 2. part 1 and part 2 have different samples on track.

or

  1. pattern 1, track 1: hold trig and turn Level knob. Select sample. pattern 2, track 1: hold trig and turn Level knob, different sample.

Did not have the second option in mind. Really useful thanks
Tho, the parameter settings (amp, fx etc) stay the same then which might not work for a different sample.
