Iphone to Digitakt --- what is your workflow?

I have a fairly good quality iphone mic and I record samples with it. I’m wondering about what workflow folks are using to get iphone recordings onto Digitakt quickly. I can do it with voice recording app but it involves several steps
—> record source and edit with voice messages app or similar
—> Save the recording to dropbox etc.
—> open it on laptop
—> convert it to .wav
—> send to Digitakt with Transfer

What about after you’ve recorded your samples, just plug the iPhone audio out into DT Audio In and sample it directly on the DT? You’ll need a 3.5mm to 1/4’ cable for this to work. (either stereo–>mono or stereo --> dual mono cable)
