Great! I also spent a lot of time with that combo! Nice deep kicks. What I like the most are LFO’d kicks that sound like kick + side-chained bass.

Switch off MIDI clock and you’re fine.
you should also make sure that the MBase’s Midi channel is not in the range of the MD’s base channel+[0…3] of course
