Kenton Midi Thru 5

Will the octatrack power the “kenton midi thru-5” or do i need a seperate power supply?

Not sure if it will power that specific one, but it does offer MIDI bus power

I have a 1 midi in to 3 Sync 24 out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x3-MIDI-DINSync-for-TR-808-909-606-MC-202-TB-303-/160550768531?pt=AU_Pro_Audio&hash=item2561924f93

He also makes a midi splitter, from a tiny box, so if you haven’t already bought the Kenton, check this out. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Touchprone-1x3-MIDI-Thru-Box-MIDI-Splitter-/160337191723?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item2554d7632b

I use one. It is not powered and comes with a psu.

I would look into a used Roland A-800 or Digital Music MX-8 … older units but much more powerful than the Kenton at about the same price. I bought a used 8x8 Roland A-880 off the 'bay months ago and it has been invaluable. 8 in 8 out for $75? get out of town!

i use the midi thru 5. Never had any issues with it. It needs an extra psu.
