So Im sure there’s a really obvious explanation but a year and a half of constant OT use later I have to ask: why sometimes are all the values on the screen shown as numbers and later I come back to work on the pattern and everything is knobs and you cant see the values? Its so annoying and I cant work out why. Cheers.
Are you sure you are in the same mode when this happens? For example: when in chromatic mode, there is simply not enough space to show the knobs.
But when in “normal” mode the knobs are displayed and their value is only indicated by the graphics of the knob (until you touch the encoder).
What @tnussb said.
Youre probably out of Track mode and in something like Chromatic or Slots.
Track mode - knobs
The other modes - nums
Ahhhh so when i turn it off to go and have a break and come back and turn it on again it probably defaults to track mode. I dont even know what track mode is! Why would the knobs be useful at ANY point its just a depiction of some… Knobs
Track mode (I call it by myself “normal” mode) is when the trig keys correspond to trigs on a track.
Why would the knobs be useful? The human mind is faster to analyse “analog” informations from gauges to get a rough overview.
