Kind of polished version of live act set im playing recently. I would say all of kicks are from AR, majority of hats and rides as well, and a few but distinguish fat chords too. A4 mostly with lead and chord duties. Rest is Pulse2 and Virus TI. In general, very few samples ares used, majority is synthesised.
Regarding “is A4/AR any good” discussion I wanted to show here my way of using AR and A4, as much as I’m not 100% satisfied with their sound, they are very stimulating for me for research and sound design - e.g. although it might be easier for me to put sampled kick/hat/ride with the 909/808, I still opt for the AR. I feel that it leads me more easily to my “soundmark”
