Losing my mind with my RYTM / Overbridge Combo, please help : (

I was at first so so excited to finally get round to using OB with my RYTM but it is proving to be very frustrating.

When I load up go to a new kit or sound on the OB VST the sound changes on my RYTM to the new Kit or Sound loaded but the settings on the OB VST don’t change. Meaning that I can’t see any of the new settings via the plugin at all, is this normal?

What is the point of having a VST that when you load a new sound the parameters don’t change to display the new parameters for the sound. Even the name of the bloody sound doesn’t change!!

I must have some sort of issue. Surely this couldn’t be the ‘normal’ way it works???

as you know I’d been witnessing this a while back - I hadn’t spotted it reoccurring but my eye has been more on the Mk2 - it’s definitely a workflow killer when they are not synchronising parameters, I can’t recall the way to best manage it, but you should report the issue - it’s not unknown and it’s certainly not normal, perhaps there are factors unique to some users so that’s why it’s wise to do a thorough report on a support ticket - video would go along way in helping imho - I’ll try to look at the mk1 soon to see if it has crept back in just as you describe

Thanks, I will take a video of the issue. I tried OB on both Cubase and Ableton and it didn’t perform properly on either. I have spent hours trying to sort it today but give up and will submit a ticket this weekend.

This is so bizarre, it just stared syncing again, literally after I typed my previous message. Are you a wizard/ How the hell did that just happen??? Lol

Haven’t a clue what is goin on as I did nothing at all and suddenly it just worked :face_with_monocle: Will keep an eye on t and see how it performs this weekend.

Thanks and sorry for being such a moan, it was just driving me barmy!!

Literally feel like crying, what is going on? :worried:

Didn’t do anything at all and it worked for a brief 30 seconds then stopped again.

I give up.

that was my experience - it survived until the first kit change or similar and was generally short lived

channel the energy towards a super clear report - I’m on Mac, so it’s not related to that, the more info and reports that detail a connected issue the more likely it’ll be understood - if it’s only brought up here they may be blissfully unaware that folk are hampered still
