Making mp3

hi all

what do you use to create mp3 from wavs?

I am on PC and record with Ableton 9 and save my tunes as wav files. 44100 (dont know the unit) with 24 bit … and triangular (whatever that means)

no normalisation or anything in the export opions

then (and here is the main question)

then I use a free standalone software called flic flac to make mp3.

what do you use? are there quality differences?

(I oppose itunes)

I use a program called “switch”. Pretty straight forward and easy. Not sure about conversion quality differences.
