Whatever happened to this module? I remember seeing it at NAMM 2018 and keep checking Modular Grid periodically hoping it will officially be released.
last time i spoke to the developer it was still on his desk w/a whole bunch of other stuff in progress. it may be back burnered but i don’t really know. will try to find out this week. i heard it in person and a few prototype versions (malekko/darkplace are homies and my neighbor at work). it sounded really great when i heard it. he was going for a very specific sound. i liked it.

All the demos I heard sounded awesome. I have a hole in my eurorack waiting for it.
I realize the world flipped upside down since you posted this but I’m curious if you ever heard anything about the FM Drum.
nope. since covid19 everything is pretty much on hold. i think there’s 1 person at darkplace/malekko building things but i doubt anything new will show up until well after this all winds down.
If I’m honest my experience with manther would put me off , it had a few quirks and bugs that never got addressed though it’s very possible they’d learn / improve on their next desktop device.
I had the Manther and loved the sound. The little quirks just didn’t jive with me well. I’d consider another one if they’d release the other synth and drum machine as stand alone as advertised.
