I am not interested in Maschine Studio but am interested in the 2.0 software.
Anybody tried it ?

Yep I have it. I think Studio is overpriced to be honest and 2.0 works absolutely fine with my Mk1. Well, in standalone mode anyway.
2.0 has some major quirks and issues when used as a vst. You can forget about using it in Ableton like what was possible with pre 2.0 (drum kits mapped on individual channels and recorded into or triggered from Live).
If happy to stick within the Maschine work flow then it will be a lot of fun. If using as a vst then I’d hold off until things are improved.
What J0n35y said, if you’re using it as a VST i would wait. There are many people stating various problems they’re having especially with Ableton.
They just released 2.0.2 so maybe wait for the next update to see if more improvements have been made.
If you’re using it standalone I would def get it because you can (and this goes along with using it as a VST) can switch back to 1.8 as they will both be installed on your system.
