I bought a digitakt new a couple weeks ago and noticed when I adjust the master volume knob it isn’t a smooth fade if that makes sense. As I raise the volume at around 12oclock it gets quieter then louder and as I keep turning theres a few more spots where the same thing happens. I’ve tried different samples, factory and my own, so I know it’s not sample choice and the pot turns smooth so I don’t think its dirty or something. I’m wondering if this is some digitakt quirk or a firmware bug or should I send it back before my return window ends?
Sounds like a bad encoder. I have a Digitakt and it works as you’d expect any such device should. Send it back.
