I’m just really curious about the initial state of these machines to see how much the machines grew since their initial release. What all has been added to the machines since the beginning?

Any resources on this?

I expect one good general reference would be old OS update documents, which IIRC often contained the previous updates’ information down below the most recent. Been awhile though, I could be wrong.

Re the silver twins, I assume you mean stuff more specific than the capabilities that expanded from mk1 to mk2 models, not to mention the addition of the UW and plus drive versions, all of which you can glean from the manuals.

I remember from the old forum that lots of MD owners were happy with the addition of the TRX-B2 kick, which HQ created by user request.

EDIT: I’m also pretty sure that the CTR machines were a later addition.

TRX- B2 is a CRAZY bass kick good addition(I still need to do something with that).

I’ll check out the OS update documents.
