Dirty acid demo, I wanted to test drive first
Drums also from MM2. Sequenced by Digitone.
Where is it written?
3 is my favorite number. Can we exchange?
Edit : saw it in the box. SN 009.
Itās ok, my birthday is 0303 so as 3x3=9, Iām good.
This can be improved. I mentioned it in a french forum. Thereās a kind of morph transition a bit too slow for my needs. Iād prefer a jump with a quick fade out. I try to use drums with a program each 4 steps, not great yet.
I know Pickup machines, but I donāt know what you meanā¦
pickup mode means the knob doesnāt respond to changes unless you pass through the original value, then it āpicks upā from thereā¦
alternatively, thereās also relative mode - ie. if youāre original value was at 9 oāclock and your knob itās at 12, it will re-scale the remaining values so they fit in whatās left of the trajectory.
This can of course have itās issues - for example if you need to fit 90% of the values in 10% of the knob trajectory - but both modes are very common and helpfulā¦ many synths with these adversities let you pick between this modes
No pickup mode, itās immediate (with an interpolation so it doesnāt click or whatever).
What you want is an encoder and lucky you, there are 4, and they are assignable.
You can even repurpose the F knob globally if you donāt like it tied to the filter cutoff.
Maybe weāll add another mode in the future tho, weāll see.
Yeah now that you mention it , iirc from reading the manual you could assign the encoders for quick access in the āmainā page ( canāt remember the name ) , similar to the P6, right?
And some other stuff, as you knowā¦
Btw I already tested patch changes with Pulse 2, which is clicky with filter changes, osc/paraphonic settings. Blofeld was really efficient in that concern. I could control a bank as a drum kit, mapping Octatrack notes to program changes with a midi processorā¦
I noticed you donāt have all that many demos of the MicroMonsta2 on your website yet. You got more coming? I would imagine no one knows this synth better than you, yet anyway
Pick up mode (sometimes called catch mode or catch up) should not affect midi control of parameters. With pick up mode, when you turn a potentiometer it doesnāt immediately change the parameter, you first have to move the knob to the current value. E.g. cutoff is at 30 and you load a preset which has a cutoff value of 70 saved, now you first have to move the knob to 70 then you have control of the parameter.
