You make a synth like this, I get overly excited. I’m simple like that
Wow! I bought this synth on a whim, but all’y’all are making me genuinely excited for this to come in
I’m looking at this with GAS eyes… can it be used as a stand-alone instrument? (meaning, no MIDI device hook to it).
I think you need something to send note data into it
No. There’s no way to trigger or sequence notes on the MM2 without using MIDI.
Is the FM on MM2 linear or exponential? I really liked the phase distortion oscillators MM1 had; it’s sad to see them gone.
It’d be really cool if OSC1 could get FM oscillators too that were modulated by OSC2.
Researching the answer in the manual (no info) I came across a reference to
A sinus oscillator
I would just like to state that I do not wish to have my sinus oscillated, thank you.
I’m gonna pair this with my Deluge and write sequences like there’s no tomorrow. Good old Prophet 12 needs to rest for a few days anyway.
Is the reverb from the MM2?
I never would have imagined this little box would have such a warm sound. And very inspiring form factor. Tempted to order…
I think it might be hard to say at the moment because of:
Yes. All my videos have their audio coming from MM2 only, recorded with a Zoom H2N. No fx added. I recorded the last one through Digitone, but without its fx, as a soundcard (and midi sequencer).
It’s not a huge bug, it’s linear, despite the bug, otherwise it won’t keep tuning properly.
Filter FM is exponential tho.
And MM2 reverb is based on my Doctor A.
I couldn’t resist this thing sounds too tasty after watching @sezare56 videos
My friend who I share a studio already had a MM1 that he left in the studio for us to jam with, saw the MM2 now available on Audiothingies and couldn’t stop myself from snagging one…
Nice. I thought about getting the Doctor A, unfortunately only a few demos on youtube.
This makes it much easier.
MM2 helped us sell Doctor A’s, definitely
can the randomizer randomize based on omitting criteria of the current patch?
There is no patch randomizer
hmm
thank you
