I’m looking at this with GAS eyes… can it be used as a stand-alone instrument? (meaning, no MIDI device hook to it).

No. There’s no way to trigger or sequence notes on the MM2 without using MIDI.

Is the FM on MM2 linear or exponential? I really liked the phase distortion oscillators MM1 had; it’s sad to see them gone.
It’d be really cool if OSC1 could get FM oscillators too that were modulated by OSC2.
Researching the answer in the manual (no info) I came across a reference to
A sinus oscillator

Yes. All my videos have their audio coming from MM2 only, recorded with a Zoom H2N. No fx added. I recorded the last one through Digitone, but without its fx, as a soundcard (and midi sequencer).

It’s not a huge bug, it’s linear, despite the bug, otherwise it won’t keep tuning properly.
Filter FM is exponential tho.
