MIDI CC to RYTM Through DN

Hi

so I want to control ARs Performance Mode from my UC33e. I´m going as follows:

UC33e MIDI OUT -> DN MIDI IN -> DN MIDI OUT -> AR MIDI IN

I can control the DN with CCs like MOD Wheel, Filter etc…

But when I want to Control ARs Performance Knob 1 which is CC 35 nothing happens. Only when I go directly from UC33e Midi Out in AR Midi in or when I go over MIDI Thru from DN in MIDI in from AR

Problem when I go over DNs MIDI Thru is that it doesn´t send Start Stop to the AR

MIDI CHANNELS are

DN
Track 1 -> CH5
Track 2-> CH6
Track 3-> CH7
Track 4-> CH8

AR
Performance CH3

There is no way to do what you want without additional equipment.

You can control the AR’s performances from the DN or the AR itself.

Farrrk…so what you mean with additional Equipment? Would a midi thru box help? But I don’t know how cause AR still has do get synced to DN Clock over Midi

Nope, you’ll need a MIDI merge box to merge the MIDI streams coming out of MIDI OUT and THRU from the DN.
