Midi editing solution required

I am looking for a solution to increase the bank value of program changes sent from octatrack to only one of the synths in my setup by 6. The synth, a Futuresonus Parva, does a great job of changing patches as it follows OT pattern changes, but I want it to start at bank M, patch 1 instead of bank A, patch 1. (M is its 7th bank, the first of two banks reserved for multitimbral patches).
Is something like the Bome box my only solution if I am not integrating a computer? My midi is all routed via a Copperlan (Alyseum midi interface), if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

You could use Parts on the OT to send arbitrary Bank Select and Program Change message on each of the OT’s MIDI sequencer tracks when changing to a pattern that is linked to a new Part.

You would need to check whether Parva requires a Bank Select MSB LSB message; if it does, that would rule out this scenario.

I’m going to need a bit of time with this haha

Thank you @PeterHanes! I’ll investigate shortly.

Note that I made a typo in my previous response. OT can only send Bank Select LSB (CC 0). That seemingly does correspond with the Parva’s implementation but …

This post on the Futuresonus forum makes it seem like there may not be a Program Change that corresponds to a Multi; you may have to enter Multi Mode and then send a Program Change to each program slot.

Ah yes you are right!
I was working from an older message of Futuresonus Brad’s where he mentioned changing this implementation. It looks like he hasn’t gotten around to it as this is more recent.
I’m still super curious about your solution though and hope I can investigate it at some point. Thanks again.
