Midi thru... Again

**Apologies, as this topic is pretty frequently talked about, however in my defence my issue hasn’t come up (although if it has please point me towards it and I’ll be very grateful) **

There’s a very good chance I’m being very stupid here, and am happy to have fingers pointed at me, whilst laughing (just as long as I get a straight answer)

OT Mk2.

Midi out- goes to a midimate usb/midi device and controls multiple ios devices on the ipad. Beautiful. Works like a dream and makes me happy.

I have the moog mother 32, which I would also like to sequence from the OT.
When it’s connected to the midi out, it’s fine. Can be sequenced and works as it should.

I would like to use both the ipad and the moog, via the OT midi.

I thought there’d be a way to do this via thru but I can’t find it. The manual doesn’t appear to have anything about the thru.

Alongside this, I also have @guga Mini T box. I was hoping that as I can’t work out the above conundrum, I would be able to do so with this little box. Tried with the midimate going to the ipad and a separate midi cable to the moog and nothing.

Please help stop my hair being pulled out - I know this is straightforward as the OT is the midi hub for lots of people, so it really is user error.

if it’s the MIDI thru on the OT then that won’t work as that’s just a copy of what goes into OT’s MIDI in.
you could try OT MIDI out -> Mini-T and then one of the outputs from the Mini-T to the MIDIMate and another to the M32 :thinking:

I tried this way (OT out-min T- midimate on one out, M32 on another) but it didn’t do anything.

When I used midi from mini t to the M32 that was fine, but it wouldn’t work at all with the midimate in the mix.

**forget the above. It’s working as it should with thr Mini T.

Clearly I was being stupid, so at least I got that part right!
