Hey, I did this thing. It’s a video of me performing my album Wet Brain live on my Elektron Octatrack and Analog 4, and the Kaoss Pad of course. Let me know what you think.
This is part 1, stay tuned for part 2

Love it, especially once the synth @ 2:19 kicks in, really elevates the whole piece. Did you use the a4 for kicks? They sound super deep, still haven’t figured out how to make them sound so nice
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]All the beats are coming from the OT, although I think I use an A4 kick later in the set for some FX. Getting great kicks out of the OT is easy, that high pass filter is massive, too massive, you’ve gotta tame it with compression and eq on the master track. Also the beats were all produced in a person using Stylus and Battery; my beats sound fat before they reach the OT. I then just pumped out stems and make them work in the OT. It’s a long process
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]I have mastered the audio of this performance so it will sound a little punchier and fuller that if it was just coming from the OT and A4. In a live situation mastering doesn’t matter in the same way it does for studio recordings but for a video like this it’s worth doing some post processing just to get it sounding it’s best. Mixing/mastering for live performance is pretty different than for studio tracks.

If you or anyone else wants more information on my process or whatever then feel free to ask. The previous explanation might not be detailed enough for some
