Here’s a track in which I play the Cycles along the Zoia, which plays synth pads. It is sequenced by the Cycles, who also sends MIDI CCs to play with cutoff, resonance, and some other parameters of the Zoia synth.

First time posting, Model:Cycles is my first Elektron device, loving it!
I was trying to build a song, made of different patterns. The process took me a couple of nights.
someone asked me how I did the sound on minute 3:15, it is a chord instrument with a LFO attached to the volume, with a very slow speed. A way to do a attack on the cycles. Also the decay is very long, and has a lot of reverb + delay

Very cool - I like the idea of adding textures with some DT samples and still letting M:C shine. I’d encourage you to keep going with more like these.

here’s a warm drum and bass track I made with the model:cycles as the center piece
all the drums except the ride cymbal are from the model:cycles, as well as the bass and one of the pads
the digitone is used for some more atmospheric pads
vocals are from ‘the magic of mushrooms’ documentary, sampled and processed through an sp404

Just me fumbling around on M:C. Was planing on selling it, but no interest, so took it out of its box for the first time in months, and started haphazardly turning knobs and pushing buttons. Recorded direct to the iPad, nothing fancy.

Here’s my first jam recording on the cycles (and with any synth for that matter!). Love what this box can do. Made this back in feb, and since then I’ve made sooo many more patterns, time to record some more. Let me know what you think of this one!

It was the system - you must have uploaded a video that triggered its algorithm

Interesting - the only thing I did was try to post a YouTube link on another post. So that would have triggered it even if it’s unrelated to this thread? I didn’t get a message about other posts. I just got some messages about being promoted to another trust level, so maybe this will help. Thanks.
