Hah! That game used a lot of classic VGM samples… the steel drum in my track is from Super Mario Kart and most likely it’s the exact same sample Austin used hence the familiarity
Lovely track overall, but that reverb clap + coin sound in particular is money.

I have so many fond memories of quitting jobs. Some I ghosted, some I gave my two weeks and some I just literally said “I’m done, bye”. The latter were the best…including the shocked faces of my coworkers and boss.
It truly is a liberating feeling when you realize (if you are able) you don’t need to deal with it anymore.

Well, in my case I already technically left, but unfortunately I still have to get some work done to maintain a good relationship.
I was this close to doing the “I’m done bye” thing but I really needed the money. It would have been nice to finish out the contract for that alone. Though for how hard this job is, 4-5 month’s living expenses for a month of torture is hard to judge. Instead it was an “amiable separation”
So yeah, I’m about to be liberated but so is my bank account.
