I guess I just understand why it isn’t implemented the way it is, and I have my own workarounds I employee for that… and that makes the constant requests and remarks for it somewhat annoying.
For instance, I wish coffee didn’t have to be so hot when i brew it in the morning. This annoys me. But I understand why it has to be that way. So seeing people say “coffee too hot!” in this thread and that thread… well it can be a minor annoyance. I’m probably more sensitive to it since I have to be here a bit more often.
And also, I am dealing with some health stuff at the moment (don’t worry, not covid-19) that is making me ultra irritable this morning so I do apologize to everyone if I’ve come off rude. That’s not my intention. My only intention is to ask people to see things from the perspective of the designers and understand that there is a reason things are the way they are.

I love my M:C. I insta ordered from the first batch, demoed it to two friends, and they each went out and immediately placed orders as well. I do think it’s worth more than $300 for everything that this can do. It sounds awesome, it’s super fun to use, it’s already being used on tracks I’ve been working on, and I am super happy with it. Just clarifying any false impression that I am complaining or saying it’s unusable because of this. I adore it!

There is a “M:C Feature Request” thread, where I initially asked for pan. Seemed harmless.
Somehow this thread is spinning the request as a complaint. It’s not. Can we stop framing it like that? Not sure I can be any more clear how happy I am with this box.

its called plasti dip, it leaves a thin rubber coating that easily peels off in one go.
I use to apply this all the time on my old vehicle, and it almost looks like real matte paint (depending on color/finish choice).
very affordable. just make sure you have something to turn it with or it will leave blotches like any paint.
*you can also find it at nearly any auto store
I think we all know that panning is usefull and cool, but its not music. Also, anybody with daw and modi can have tones of modulation on this box anyway. There is no box with it all on this planet, but there are plenty of people who want it all ( and want it now) toilet paper being the priority good times
You sure? plenty of unmusical panning around me ( didn’t mean to say my music hmm)… what you hear is music, but you confuse it with panning ill stop now, its discussion for some other time and other people.
