I love the sounds from Monomachine but cant justify buying one.
Can you owners recommend a good sample pack with good stuff from the mnm?
Also, would tte samoles come to their best loading them into rytm or octatrack?
I don’t know of any sample pack that contains samples of Monomachine sounds, and it is hard to imagine Elektron themselves producing one while the MM is still in production.
As to whether to use the AR or OT to play back such sample, this is surely mostly a question of personal preference. The AR only plays back samples in mono and has a few fewer options for sample manipulation, but does allow layering with an analog drum voice and routing through its analog filter.
BTW, which kind of sample would you want ?
Chords ? Drums ? Glitches ? What else ?
If you’re not afraid of getting sued, you could always sample some existing music made with the Monomachine.
I was looking for those glitchy percussive digital clicks rattles and squeaks that is so typical monomachine I think.
I found a free sound pack here I may try out

A to of the MnM’s sound is both Plocks, LFO modulation and dynamic realtime routing IMHO - more complex sounds wouldn’t really shine as singular or multisample IMHO but straight up FM precision etc would work but you’d probably want a lot even for separate sounds to cover filter modulations, left modulations and other trig tricks.
As stated above, Monomachine samples would not mean much. P-Locks are too much involved in “how it sounds”.
Any lo-fi/8bit/SID sample pack will do the trick IMHO (as a starting point).
@krusty
I was thinking exactly just like you. And i did like this. I’ve founded on YT nice MnM tune, sample, load into Korg esx, and i was disappointed. Sound was flat. Then i’ve just bought Real MnM, and it was best way.
You can’t feel how unique is that machinę until you touch this youself.
