I’ve tried to search the forums but I guess I can’t find much in the backlog, though the search function didn’t seem particularly helpful, so I’m happy to be pointed to other threads if they’re here somewhere…
Anyway, I just performed a portion of a live set using all 8 tracks for percussion hits and I really want to free up some of the tracks for other uses by implementing multi-sample audio files where I can access multiple hi-hats and other percussion within one audio track due to the handy slices feature. The issue I’m having is finding people’s thoughts on the best way to create a sound file that will easily be converted into this format with the ‘create slice grid’ function.
Again, I’m happy to be pointed to a thread here or perhaps on the old ElektronUsers forum if it has already been discussed.
