Mute a part of a sample in arranger mode

hi,

I want to mute a track in arranger mode:

the sample is 64 bars long, with a trig on the first step, but I just want to mute the 16 last steps.
When I mute the track (row 48 to 64) the sample continue to sound until it reach its end.

I try to put a scene with a lock on volume but apparently (like just read in another post) programming scenes in the arranger doesn’t actually trigger those scenes unless you physically move the crossfader at the times those scenes are triggered.
But I want this to be automated…

Help someone ?
Seems to be a basic need…

Use a trigless trig and lock its volume to zero. I think it’s the easiest way

if you just program scene a in the the arranger you won’t need to move the fader.

I just want it to happen a couple of time in the track, not everytime the pattern is running …

because I try it with scene B in arrenger !

you need to use one shot trig (yellow colour), it works only once. If you need to use it again, you can simply press yes while your live is playing, it will re-arm your trig and it will play again…
