Need some help adding IPAD to my setup

I’m mostly using my IPAD + Beatmaker 3… my sets and stuff I do at home… Bare with me I’m new to the IPAD… so far like I said I’ve only been using it as a recording device… but what I want to do is this… be able to record into my IPAD (which I can do) but with out unhooking any cables, play back samples from my IPAD and record them into my Sp404…

My setup this… Bass and Guitar go into mixer… as well as some volcas and my DN … they input out from my mixer to OT (input A and B) …

Then Cue outs go to inputs of the 404 and then the 404 goes to OT into inputs C and D…

My mixer is behringer 1202 and my audio interface is umc204HD…

Anyway to throw the IPAD into the mix so I can resample and sample things from it onto my SP404… I tried the output ear-bud jack on the ipad to input on the mic of the sp404 but it doesn’t sound the best (don’t like that option)

Is it possible doing this with my gear, without having to disconnect anything? Buying another piece of gear right now is also not an option… Currently I can take the monitor outputs from my interface and run them back into mixer on it’s own channel… (but if I play with the mixer level to much I get terrible feed back - but this is doeable… but not sure if it’s the best way to go about it… thanks)

if you dont want to use the headphone jack of the ipad, your only other option is to use an audio interface with your ipad. (besides recording the ipad speaker with a mic )

your behringer interface will work. you need the camera connection kit…

3.5mm to rca should help getting the right level into the sp

I was hoping to avoid having to unplug the rca cables that go from the ot to sp

This is my first ever attempt with a sampler as new to music. Its annoying and I only like ARE ILLUSION and the synths were just placed there without tweaking. I post for first ever sampling attempt. I will sample more. Its with Koala. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hr76vdurg33504j/the%20end.wav?dl=0

Along with Ultratap Delay. Anyone have ideas. Basically have something on Volca drum which sounds better in ultratap than anything else but I dont want the beat of the drum to be under ultratap influence. I guess its all about manipulating a recording as theres obviously no way of seperating volca drum outputs. Now I see why multi outputs are beneficial.
