You bet, the NE stuff is absolutely brilliant, both innovative and relatively simple to use ! The staff is also very nice, I had a good chat with Markus via email, he also makes great blog posts on the NE website which I wholeheartedly recommend.
The Loquelic Iteritas Percido is my all time favorite voice module, the sonic landscape on offer is gigantic, definitely a desert island module as far as I’m concerned  Sort of an obvious remark in the world of Eurorack but something to keep in mind for NE voices is that they crave a lot of modulation and heavily reward experimentation.

I’ll be checking your video when I get home, hopefully it’s not too much of a GAS drive, I don’t have room for another Percido module but I’ve been drooling over the CIP for a while

Love your music BTW, you absolute genius :sparkling_heart: :sparkling_heart: :sparkling_heart:

I have succesfully resisted all forms of Eurorack over the years, but this video had me looking up small hp 4MS Pod cases

Just one of these, maybe a Morphagene and a few choice utility modules, controlled by my A4, would keep me busy for quite a while.

A few years go when I discovered the existence of this new wave of modular, my local synth shop hosted a meet-up with the manufacturers and NE had a booth. My first impression was that the artwork was amazing but I was confused and thought they were Make Noise, leading to a rather awkward conversation with the person at the NE table. :sob:

I like that Noise Engineering is devoted to cultivating a unique aesthetic (with lovable naming conventions) rather than merely following trends. The emphasis is on making modules that are fun to tweak while making music, end of mission mission statement.

Digital oscillators and effects in eurorack have the advantage of being hands on, fun to tweak, look cool, but with a good soundcard and dedicating some time Reaktor can do what many thousands worth of digital modules can and not sound inferior. Then if you want to put audio outputs and send modulation to analogue filters, waveshapers analogue delays etc, there’s Expert Sleepers modules.

That sounds like a lot of work. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is true - you could also replicate the functions of Octatrack in Supercollider… but I personally feel that is missing the reason I chose for some of my music making tools to be hardware… (you could replicate the sound and function of anything in eurorack - eg in vcv rack as well but it’s missing the point I think)

I renewed my very old reason licence very cheap some weeks ago, mainly with the intention to buy/use the NE models as software. Not done yet because of the :face_with_monocle:small screen when reason is used as vst and other stuff i also dont do/use. Would love to mangle with a small NE/percussion oriented case in real world, sigh…
Also looking forward to buy your new sample pack soon. Great stuff

Cool! Just jumped on the NE boat and picked up BI, LIP, Lapsus Os, Confundo Funkitus, Zularic Reptitor. Still waiting on them, but yeah it’s gonna be raw and loud and industrial! Need an A-B between the CIP vs LIP
