Notes not recorded

When recording in Direct - I noticed ( in a 64 step - pattern ) that my AK dous not record all 64 steps. No matter how slow ( ex: 40BPM ) there are allmost everytime empty trigs. At firs I tought this was because I was recording at 124 BPM .
So I slowed down to 40 BPM. I know that only 64 steps can be recorded…
This problem never occured with my A4.
Most of the time the missing steps occur in the 2 last pages.
I’ve tried unquantised and quantised - this dous not seem to be of any influence.
Any of you have thesame problem, and what could be the reason ?

OK! Nobody seems to have this problem. Time t contact ELEKTRON or do an uddate.

does this happen on a new empty pattern and with a fresh unused kit, what length is the global step count and can you even add in steps in grid record in these empty sections ? too many variables to know for sure, put some flesh on the bones !

disconnect everything when you test btw

Thank you for your interest.
I havent had the time until know to trie out wat you proposed.
I do remeber that the global step-count was at 64 and i CAN add the steps in grid-record afterwards.
This evening i’me going to disconnect the midi cable between my A4 and the AK and make a test in a virgin project and a empty pattern.with a fresh kit.

Hello , Avantronica

Tried it with a new project and everything 's ok !
A great tip, thanx…

I Wonder if ,sometimes, erasing a track doesn’t erase everything. - or maybe there’s a link with having a lot of locks on other tracks.
i’m gonna take my time to investigate this.

Your answers and info on this forum where allready a great help to me and i appreceate alot your clear clear way of explaining things.

Cool, no bother, i find that it helps me learn too, it’s a challenge to myself as it were, but in trms of really learning it’s always best to assume that it’s not bugs (they do happen) but some settings, when you can anticipate those issues it makes getting things done easier, it was a curious issue, it will be interesting to learn the cause
