Library
What is the Library?
The Library is essentially a preset manager on steroids. The Library is divided into Sections provides a library of Entries for the various elements of both OctaEdit and the Octatrack, where literally anything can be saved and loaded between Sets and Projects.
Save your Project setups, Machine configurations, LFO Designs, Parts, Scenes, etc. from any Set and any Project and reuse them as required whenever, and wherever you want.
Can I share OctaEdit Library Entries with other users?
Absolutely. Library entires can be imported / exported and there is a section on the forum for sharing Library entries with other users.
What is the difference between Copy/Paste and Load/Save in OctaEdit?
- Copy: Copy the Element into a temporary memory buffer.
- Paste: Paste the temporary memory buffer into the Element.
- Save to Library: Saves the Element as a āLibrary Entryā
- Load from Library: Loads a āLibrary Entryā from the Library.
What can I Copy/Paste / Load / Save in OctaEdit?

Any chance of OE being confirmed to. Work with 1.25h fully? Not trying to spend $100 before I know itāll def be fully compatible.
I do not have any OSv1.25H specific bugs that I am aware of / have been reported.
The bulk of users are on either OSv1.25E or OSv1.25H (with a smattering of users on other OSās between v1.25 and v1.25D)
OSv1.25F and OSv1.25G are not supported.
Kick ass.
Just give me a yell if you need any help / assistance; or have any questions etc.
Itās that time again? Sure isā¦
Moving into the beta stage of testing for the new build, so when thats all done, the next release will be out.
If you are an existing OctaEdit customer and fancy like getting your hands on it and playing around / doing some testing, please post in the Beta Testing forum. (OSX only at the moment Iām afraid)
Just got it.Mainly to cut up a bunch of samples and combine 2 projects. Is there a way to make the samples copy and map inside a folder in the project instead of in the root of the project? The manual is a lot to take in on the first night. haha.

Samples: When you add Samples, the location the files get copied to depends on the Edit -> Location option.
Manager: When you execute in Manager, Samples are copied based on the Target -> Location option
Audio Pool: Setās Audio Pool folder.
Project: Project Folder
Custom: Wherever you want, so long as it is within the Audio Pool folder or the Project folder.
Retain: Manager Only. Retains the same folder hierarchy, but replaces the Source Set/Project with the Target Set/Project
Bedtime reading
Along with rereads of my new OT and A4 manuals. Haha.
