Sorry if this has come up before. I tried searching to no avail.
The power went out on my block a few days ago and I haven’t been able to get the OT acting the way it was before. Hopefully it isn’t damaged and instead reset some old setting I haven’t looked at in a long time.
Anyway, the problem is with midi control of other synths. The to is used as the center of my rig using midi in from a master keyboard and midi out sending clock and note data to everything else (several synths, analog 4, analog rytm). I first noticed that track five was completely unresponsive when I just wanted to play the Blofeld connected to that channel. I tried to change the channel on the OT and the Blofeld with no luck, but found that the Blofeld worked on any other OT midi track I assigned it to. All of the instruments connected to other tracks still worked, and pressing play on the OT started my analog 4 and rytm I then noticed that pressing play was only triggering internal to samples and the two other sequencers, but none of the midi data recorded on the OT tracks. I tried reloading the project, powering off the OT and trying again, disconnecting everything midi wise and power cycling and reconnecting. Still nothing. I can play my external synths through the OT from my master keyboard except for track five, but the sequencer will not play notes to these synths. Hopefully someone out there has seen this and will be able to help out. Thanks!
What MIDI channel did you have set up on OT track 5?
Did you have any other OT tracks set to the same MIDI channel?
Were you able to set the other OT tracks to use that MIDI channel?
Are you able to use other MIDI channels on OT track 5?
Does the problem persist if you start another Project on the OT?
Is there anything set up on the Blofeld like a keyboard split that excludes the notes you were sending from the OT?

OT track 5 was set to midi channel 15, same as the Blofeld, with no other tracks addressing midi ch 15.
Other OT tracks could correctly address channel 15. OT track five could not address any midi channel correctly.
Nothing special about the Blofeld setup.
A new project allows normal midi functionality, but changing back to the previous one does not. I don’t know if the power cycle just corrupted that project or what.

Sounds like a corrupted project, unfortunately. You could create a support ticket with Elektron and ask whether they can fix it.
