I load a long sample into track five and under the attr page i changed the correct tempo to 128 bpm
now i set a loop at the end and put a trig condition on sequencer step 1 to first.
at the note page i put loop on.
my problem is that it loops after 16 steps. Normally i tested it with a 4 bar loop and set the loop to
the last bar it works perfectly and loops this. Have the octatrack here problems with the long sample ?
Have you changed the Master length of the pattern?
No that’s not the issue.
Is the trig condition definitely set to 1st? Is the sample definitely 4 bars long
Page #77 of OT manual. Scale set-up, per track, master length. Set it to the length you need.
For a four bar sample to play correctly, you just need to set pattern length to 64 steps.
If individual track length is active, check master length.
Make sure, that there is only one trig on step 1 (auto copy feature!), check for loop points, and correct length in audio editor, attributes page. How many bars length are shown there?
Ofc amp hold has to be set to at least 64 to allow the loop to play through.
How long?
How long is the loop at the end?
Does it loop the beginning like retrigging the sample?
Does 1st trig condition work with loop off?
