OS 1.1.1 upgrade issue

Hi fellow owners of this fine piece of Swedish Metal,

Everyone seems to have resolved any issue with the upgrade pretty quickly today but alas not I. I have the C6 software, I’ve loaded and highlighted the update and clicked Send (the Keys appears in the config menu and this is via USB). Nothing happens. I’ve selected OS upgrade on the Keys and only the “Waiting for SYstemSEX” ever appears. I’ve tried changing the Midi-in settings to “USB” and “MIDI+USB” for kicks and resetting my computer. I’m running ye olde OSX10.6 and the Elektron appears in the Apple MIDI Studio window (as in the Mac recognises it).

Foolish question: Did you click the “Configure” button in C6 and tell it that the Analog Keys is the input and output device to use?

So did it work? The other problem I’ve encountered with C6 running on Windows 8.1 is that it doesn’t like USB 3.0. When I use one of my 2.0 connections, it works great. scratches head :confused:

It did indeed work, I only had the one midi device plugged in at the time so promptly feel like a dork.

I’m running a first gen Macpro which still has USB1.1 on the keyboard so I’m no help. Sounds like a decent question for tech support though and at least you’re got the option. Elektron must be looking at USB3 anyway with the VST they’re creating.
