Track 2 - 4 Flex (kick, hihat, perc/melodic)
Track 5: Pickup with Source of Track 1 (no AB or CD input)
Trach 6 pickup (AB)
Track 7: pickup (CD)
Track 8: Master
In AB Input goes my VIRUS Polar T1 and on CD Input my Digitakt
I Like to have a rythm fundament and a felxibe sound, effekt, melodic possibility.
For that I like to use the pickup machines, to catch and stack/overdub sounds, erase them, …as I like.
But it do not work as it should. If I press Rec 1, play a chord on the virus it always start new after 16 sec. but do not overdub.
Are you using using the sequencer on the thru track? Meaning do you have plocks and things or just a trig on step one to activate it? If you are only using the step one activation trig you can save a track and monitor from your Pickup Machine, the monitor level is in rec setup2 and PU’s will monitor when the track is selected.
As you have 3 PU’s which one are up talking about? The one with Src3 T1? I haven’t used pickups with src3 I always have them set to inputs, but this might be a factor in what your experiencing:
It mentions trig but I have a hunch the same scenario will apply to PU’s but again I haven’t tested.
What are your memory settings? Do you have dynamic recorders on or is your reserve length set past 16 seconds?
In rec setup1 for the PU your trying what are your rlen and trig settings? In rec setup2 what are your qrec and qpl settings?
