I have tested my Digitone with the latest overbridge version and it’s pretty unstable. Studio one started to act weird and crashed (it never does that otherwise). My digitone crashed 1 time and its effects stopped working.
The biggest issue is that I get stuck notes ALL the time that drives me crazy. I thinks its more a bug in the digitone. Its a bug that has been around for some time. Does anyone else have this problem?
@olle Do you guys at Elektron work on resolving this bug?
Can’t get it to work with my Digitakt, Windows 10 and Cubase. Had installed over the old version. Then after reading this thread, I uninstalled it, rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted, still can’t find the device. Digitakt is on 1.11 (apparently the latest) I am getting fed up with overbridge. Nothing but issues.
I feel like a pinhead retyping this each time, but…
There was an issue on install where inputs in the OB engine got shut off. If you just enable 1/2 the DT will be seen again. But it hasn’t happened in awhile.
Happened to me twice sometime ago. And it was to my A4.
Maybe check that?

At the moment, Main L & R Out is enabled. I can turn on and off one of them and successfully apply the configuration. Any other attempts, like for instance enabling one input, results in failure.
You have matching engine and OS versions?
Just asking…not implying anything.
Try reinstalling OS on box?

OS is 1.40A which I think is the right one.
The Mac is completely fresh, got it a few weeks ago. Had the same problem on the one it replaced. OB has never really worked well on the A4. Previous versions had me shutting it on and off due to intermittent digital artefacts, sort of like if it is reduced to 4-bit playback and sometimes with hiccups that sounded like data was stuck in a buffer and then released trying to catch up… 
I can add that the A4 is a really early one, got it around first week of 2013. Maybe someone from Elektron can chime in if there’s been any hardware revisions that mitigates something that might be suboptimal in mine…
OB 1 didn’t werk with my A4. So I had dismissed it. Since they started werk in new OB it’s been awesome. On all boxes.
Really no issues except for them polishing out bugs and optimizing. (been helping test)
I’m all up to date, mac Mojave, motu, most of the time using aggregate with Logic. OB has been SOLID.
The issue your having sounds like the input issue. I had it so long ago, perhaps I’m missing a step. Like turn off all, turn on two.

Been trying this myself last night, I can drag samples in to the pool (which I’ve imported via transfer) but I can’t drag them out again which is a pain, gotta go back in to the hardware to delete unless someone else knows a trick.
while i can understand your frustration, it might be more helpful, to describe your issue exactly/better to eventually get help from users or elektron…
maybe also report it to elektron via a ticket or another official way. this would be more productive, than hoping someone else will do the work…

I had it working back in December 2019, with AR-2 and A4-2. So the answer to your question is “yes there is a chance”. I did have some issues installing, but got help from some tips posted on this forum. I should also add the it did seem to have minor stability issues (hard to say whether that was a win7 thing or a beta thing). In any case I upgraded to win10 in Jan 2020 and things have been much smoother - installation painless (I mean OB was painless… the win10 install was a bit of a pain - but still worth it).

There’s a response from Elektron in there, saying it’s being “looked into”. That was in January.

Thanks for your answer, djx. I have everything working so good in Win 7 right now that I don’t want to suffer the upgrade to Win10 and reinstalling everything 
But I use Overbridge 1 for A4mkI and ARmkI, and would need Overbridge 2 for Digitakt and Digitone and install latest OS in the analogs (dual VCO for Rytm, midi out, randomize…).
In this moment, working from home, I can’t upgrade to Win10 at the risk of having problems with the platform we use, so I just can try it with Win7 or wait until everything go back to normal.
ok, good that this topic already exists. my point was more about an emotional comment in a tech discussion topic…
maybe more tickets about a specific issue will bring it up higher in priority, but thats just a guess…
I’ve got OB working with my Digitone, but it keeps dropping out. Every 5 mins or so the audio cuts out and I have to turn the Digitone off and on again. Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

Beforehand, sorry if this has been discussed:
I guess I have installed my A4 mk1 correctly in Reaper. I can create separate tracks with all inputs and also record it. Only when I want to playback the recording and listen through the A4, I don’t get any audio. I do see the meters of my Master in Reaper react. Also I do get audio through (the headphones of) my A4 from, say, Spotify. So something doesn’t seem right.
I hope someone can help
