Parameter slide

What is wrong with this set-up because I am expecting a scale…

in a 16 note sequence I place the same note on 1 and 3 on all 4 bars.

On the 16th note a put a trigless lock to a note 2 octaves up.

I go into parameter slide select note 1 and 16.

I assume when I hit play the notes will go up the scale as the sequencer goes from 1-16

This not correct, is this note possible, or did I do something wrong?

Nothing on the NOTE page will slide and if it did your slide would be interrupted by the note on trig 3, unless you were omitting that trig on that page and not mentioning it. Also if you only wanted to slide from trig 1 to trig 16 (and not also from trig 16 to trig 1 on the next page) you would only need a parameter slide lit on trig one.

The only thing you can use in this instance is a note slide placed on trig 2 at the pitch you want to slide to with the slide time (on OSC2’s second page) adjusted to reach the desired pitch by trig 16, or via the oscillator’s Tune parameter to go more smoothly from trig one to 16, but both of these methods give a smoothly swept pitch and since you describe the effect you’re after as scale, so I assume you want semitone steps, I think you’re pretty much f****d.

EDIT
Actually, a scaled/stepped version may be achievable with the arp but, since I don’t use arps, I couldn’t say for sure.
