When I’ve got my Pattern Direct Change in “Jump” mode and I’ve got a pattern playing, I’d like to be able to copy it to an empty pattern slot without skipping a beat. I follow the instructions in the manual, and while I am pasting the beat into the empty slot, nothing is played while the “countdown” commences before it will paste the pattern. The only way I can tell to fix this is to change the Pattern Direct Change mode to “Sequential”. This is not what I want to do.
Any tips?
