Playing long samples in Rytm

Hi!

It’s clear the AR isn’t a dedicated sampler like the OT, however - is there a way to play a long lasting sample which doesn’t choke when the pattern runs 64 steps (relative to the project’s tempo)?

I’m working with a spoken vocal in a song. If I put the sample on the 1st trig, it’ll choke and restart when the pattern has gone full circle (64 steps in this case). If I was to just punch the pad, starting the vocal, without putting a trig on that sound’s pattern - I can then start the whole song and let the patterns “loop” whilst the vocal plays in its entirety (it’s about 30 seconds long). However, is there a way for the Rytm not to choke and interrupt the playback in case the sample hasn’t finished playing? Perhaps conditional trigs would solve it (1:2 or more), but I’m curious if there is a specific setting relating to the choke?

Thanks!

Putting the “1rst” condition on it is probably the way to go, that way it only gets triggered on the first pattern cycle, but will continue to play…
