Possible to mute and delay a track with one scene?

Greetings! New and happy AR user here. I’m trying to create a quick delay and mute inna dubstyle. At the moment I dial in the delay using qperf then either mute the pad or use a scene to kill the volume. Ideally I would like to do this with one scene pad.

I have tried to create a scene which sends the delay and dropps the volume of a track. However, I only get the mute behaviour and no delay. I’m wondering if this is because the delay doesn’t have time to kick-in? Is this expected, has anyone else tried the same?

You’ll need 2 scenes, or 2 perfs.
One pad for delay, the other for mute

I see… so the 2 pads is to make the delay trigger before the mute.
