Impressive use of the scales.
I played today at 300 bpm with some conditional trigs… WIth 12/24 midi and things like that… But more in a hard techno ambiance.
What you have done here is really nice.
I love the workflow of the OT when it’s not using one pattern of 64 step ( trig cond and polyrytm) > It can do a lot with timing as you said 7/8 14/16… with 1/8 or 3/2 or else scale setups…

What month correspond to 16 ?

Trig conditions and polyrhythm and anything other than 4/4 is what my Octatract is for

the opposite of that is good for composition if requested for a “normal” job.

but other than that, the octatrack is lovely at the weird

I will post the tutorial here soon

I make synths in Ableton Live and export one shots - how do you get your sounds into your Octatrack?

latency: if you send your octatrack into ableton live you can change the delay “pre” or “post”

you can tweak times for your gear - if its a tiny bit off it doesn’t matter

also, you might like this about “cross rhythm” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-beat

also changing the “buffer size” in your DAW is very important if you have bad latency41

Thank you dear, I know this, but the fact is that I use midi Out from the midi tracks of the OT, They play and need to be layered with the audio tracks kits. So the problem stay present because it is a midi out from OT to ableton question…
