Hi everyone, I was roaming youtube for videos of the ob-6 when I stumbled on this video which speaks of and demonstrate the sounds of a mysterious synth to be released in 2020 :
On the description of the videos the author says :
Firstly - I can’t say too much RE the synth, but what I can say it is an absolute world-destroyer. Set to be released in 2020 - but the guys working on it are in no rush at all to release it. Primary focus is creating a monstrous tone, and having a stable architecture. It is providing the bass in the main track (sequence lines are the OB6) - but I also added two bonus samples at the end to illustrate the tone. Sample 1 is at c.3:32, sample 2 at 4:47. In both samples, the sounds are all from the prototype. And no, I can’t tell you who the manufacturer is, nor any other details. I’m simply running it through its paces at present.
But what I can say is: the horn sounds it creates are mind-blowing.
I must say, It is pretty intriguing ! And if you just wanna hear cool synth sounds without much info you’ve come to the right place. Seeing that NAMM is approaching soon, I hope we’ll hear more about this mysterious synth.
