Purge +drive samples unused by sound library

hi,

is there a way to clean or purge my + drive samples?

by that i mean delete all samples that are not used in anyway in the sound library.

best regards

I’ve found the easiest way to clean out any samples is to go into Elektron Transfer and delete them from there. That way you can delete large chunks of them at once instead of selecting them individually on the hardware itself. Just go to Explorer tab and delete the items.

yes friend i know this way, what i want to do is make some space in +drive with samples that i do not use in sound library, let’s assume you create a 909 directory and use 20 best samples to create sounds and directory contain 150 samples, i’d like to purge the 130 unused samples and keed only the 20 i use for my sound library.
i don’t know if i’m clear

You mean something like a “purge unused samples” feature? If so I’m going to feel dumb.
I just do what I’ve been doing with samplers for decades and go through all of my patterns and make note (on paper) of all samples used then delete everything not on the list manually.

14.2.2 “Removing unused samples from RAM” p. 57

Have not used I myself, but it seems to describe what you need to do.

thanks but i do not talk about the RAM here, i talk about the +DRIVE.

yes indeed purge all unused samples in the +DRIVE that are not used in any sounds.
