Recording Digitakt using Audiobox 96?

Hi! I’ve bought Presonos Audiobox 96 for recording the Digitakt using USB. But I think I made a mistake. The doc for Audiobox 96 says that it takes instrument level inputs, and plugging in line level inputs if not recommended. I don’t really know if output from Ddigitakt is line level or instrument level. The specification for Audiobox 96 input only states the impedance of 0.5 MO (O for Omega). Please let me decide if I can use this item for recording or not. Seems to work, but maybe it will break…

Yeah, that’s not really the right interface. Return it and get yourself a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. That’ll be more versatile for you in the long run.

Also, recording at 96kHz is just a waste of storage space for this kind of use. 44.1kHz or 48kHz are fine.

Wow! I went to return the Audiobox 96, and they offered me to get the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 instead, and I got it. So happy it coincided with your suggestion  Yeah, I agree 48kHz should be more than enough based on the frequencies we humans can hear  Thanks a lot for your reply, you made my day!
